David joined La Ronde Wright in April 2020 and works on a range of clients’ projects, big and small. He has acted as planning agent for several large residential and mixed-use schemes in King’s Lynn, Hunstanton and Leiston, as well as for bespoke houses for individuals and families across the region.
Previously he had been a planning officer at South Norfolk Council, and has academic and professional experience from around the country, including Shropshire, Manchester, Worcestershire, Nottingham and even the Isles of Scilly. With university degrees in both law and town planning, and having worked in varied planning and land-related roles, David draws on this background to provide advice on planning strategy, procedure and legal context, including enforcement and permitted development matters, where a well-founded understanding is essential in realising the best outcome.
Out of the office, David enjoys exploring the great outdoors with interests in local history and architecture, and this kindles on occasion ideas towards his planning projects.
